bubble tea stationAll good things begin with a crazy idea. The story of Bubble Tea Station is no different.

It was a normal, uneventful day in 2011 when founders Meyan and Johann Young were driving to the only milk tea place in the city of Cebu. Traffic was horrible and conversations flowed. While stuck in traffic for over 30 minutes, Meyan, the milk tea addict, had a light bulb moment. She idealistically said “What if we opened our own little bubble tea place near where we live? We wouldn’t have to drive so far and our place would have all our favorite drinks from all over”. And Johann, the ever-supporting husband told her to GO FOR IT!

The next 4 months was a whirlwind of researching for the right drinks and flavours. They searched high and low for the best ingredients and flavours, mixed them up in their own Master Chef kitchen, and came up with a series of bubble tea beverages. They didn’t stop until they came up with the best-tasting beverages possible. And in April of 2012, the first Bubble Tea Station cart sprouted in Banilad Town Centre, only a minute’s drive from the Young’s home.

Fast forward to six years later, Bubble Tea Station now has eight (8) branches brewing happiness for more than 7,000 people per week. All in all, we have bubbled up more than 3,000,000 cups.

Looking back, it warms our hearts thinking that it all started with one crazy idea on a normal, uneventful day.

Our Mission
To provide superior-tasting milk tea drinks and other beverages to our fellow Cebuanos using the finest ingredients and maintaining high-quality standards.

Our Vision
In 2018, Bubble Tea Station aims to have a total 15 company owned branches in Cebu.
In 2020, we see ourselves being franchised in key VisMin cities.

Our Target Market
Although we serve customers of all ages and sizes, Bubble Tea Station’s identified target market are people from 15 to 35 years old. As our menu line-up includes drinks and flavours unusual to what our community is used to (e.g. Rock Salt and Cheese and Yakult based drinks), this targeted market is captured as it is hip and adventurous, willing to try almost anything.
